The Challenge
This project paved Chestnut Market — the Chestnut Market gas station in Old Lyme, CT. This Old Lyme, CT property needed a parking lot that could carry daily traffic without rutting, drain cleanly, and present well to everyone arriving on site.
Our Process
We staged equipment to keep as much of the lot open as possible, milled or removed where required, corrected the base, and paved the binder and surface courses to full density. Final striping was applied once the asphalt had cooled.
The Result
The property reopened with a quiet, clean parking lot — proper drainage, fresh striping, and a surface built to handle the daily traffic load.
