From two brothers and a pickup truck
In 1963 the Maisano brothers, Tony and Pat, embarked on their journey by plowing snow and taking up odd paving jobs using their father’s pickup truck. As time went on the paving work grew, and by 1965 they were taking on more and more projects. In 1967 they took a significant step forward by purchasing their first dump truck, leading both brothers to quit their full-time jobs and dedicate themselves to paving and snow plowing.
In 1970 Maisano Brothers Inc. established itself as an independent entity and officially incorporated. Over the years the company gained recognition for its work, making headlines for its snow plowing during the notorious blizzard of 1978 — featured on the front page of the local newspaper. The company continued to leave its mark, even being showcased on local news broadcasts while plowing I-95 south in Branford during the blizzard of 2003.
Since the passing of Pat Maisano in 1985 and Tony in 2010, Chris Maisano has carried the paving company forward. From the early days with shovels and rakes to modern paving fleets, the standard hasn’t changed: build it right, from the base up.

The standards behind every project
The reasons homeowners, businesses, and national property managers have trusted us for generations.
Built from the base up
We never shortcut what goes under the surface. A properly prepared base is the difference between pavement that lasts and pavement that fails.
Honest recommendations
We tell you the truth — repair when repair makes sense, replace when it does not. We will not sell you work you do not need.
Experienced crews
Our crews have paved driveways and parking lots from Northford for decades. That hands-on experience shows in every finished surface.
The right equipment
Modern pavers, rollers, milling, and reclamation equipment let us deliver consistent quality on projects of every size.
Clear communication
From the written estimate to the final walkthrough, you always know the scope, the schedule, and what to expect.
Workmanship that lasts
We have built our reputation one project at a time since 1967 — and we build every job to protect it.
Built one driveway, lot, and road at a time
Chances are you’ve already driven on something we built — the cul-de-sac in your neighborhood, the lot at the grocery store, the apron at your school, the road on your morning commute. Three generations of our family have spent their days behind pavers, rollers, and dump trucks to put it there.
Every job we win is a vote of trust from a homeowner, a property manager, a municipality, or a national account, and we don’t take any of it for granted. Whether the project is a single driveway or a million-square-foot parking lot, the standard is the same: a base prepared properly, asphalt laid hot, joints rolled tight, and a crew that stands behind the work after the trucks leave.
Thank you for trusting us with your pavement. We’ll keep on paving.
