The Challenge
This project paved Nordstrom Rack at West Farms Mall — a retail anchor location at the West Farms Mall in Farmington. The property manager in Farmington, CT needed a parking lot that could carry traffic loads without rutting, drain cleanly to keep customers safe, and look professional to anyone walking up to the door.
Our Process
The crew worked from the same trucks, paver, and rollers used on every Maisano Brothers job — there is no chain of subcontractors between the estimate and the finished surface. We staged equipment to keep as much of the lot open as possible, milled or removed where required, corrected the base, and paved the binder and surface courses to full density. Final striping was applied once the asphalt had cooled.
The Result
The property reopened with a quiet, clean parking lot — proper drainage, fresh striping, and a surface built to handle the daily traffic load.
