The Challenge
The owners in Durham & Wallingford, CT needed a driveway that drained properly and held up to daily use. The previous surface had aged past simple repairs — cracking, settling, and uneven transitions made resurfacing the practical fix.
Our Process
The crew worked from the same trucks, paver, and rollers used on every Maisano Brothers job — there is no chain of subcontractors between the estimate and the finished surface. The same crew that priced the work delivered it on site, which keeps quality consistent from the first call through the final pass. The existing surface was prepared, the base was corrected where needed, and hot-mix asphalt was paved in proper lifts and rolled to full density. Edges were shaped to resist future cracking and transitions at the apron and the garage were finished cleanly.
The Result
The owners got a smooth, properly draining driveway that adds to the curb appeal of the home and is positioned to last with simple periodic maintenance.
