The Challenge
A cemetery property in East Haven, CT needed its roadways and walkways resurfaced — work that had to be carried out quietly, respectfully, and on a schedule that kept the grounds open and undisturbed for families and services. The drives had aged enough that visitors needed a smooth, safe surface, and the walkways had to remain level and easy to walk for guests of every age.
Our Process
Work was sequenced with care for the property — the crew kept noise and traffic to a minimum, paused for services, and protected memorials and grounds throughout. The driving surfaces were prepared, the base was corrected where needed, and hot-mix asphalt was paved and rolled to a smooth, level finish across the roadways and walkways. Edges and transitions were detailed by hand.
The Result
The cemetery grounds reopened with quiet, even drives and walkways — a respectful, well-finished surface that lets visitors come and go in comfort and lets the property continue to be cared for the way it deserves.
