The Challenge
A cemetery property in East Haven, CT needed its roadways and walkways resurfaced — work that had to be carried out quietly, respectfully, and on a schedule that kept the grounds open and undisturbed for families and services. The drives had aged enough that visitors needed a smooth, safe surface, and the walkways had to remain level and easy to walk for guests of every age.
Our Process
The crew worked from the same trucks, paver, and rollers used on every Maisano Brothers job — there is no chain of subcontractors between the estimate and the finished surface. The same crew that priced the work delivered it on site, which keeps quality consistent from the first call through the final pass. Work was sequenced with care for the property — the crew kept noise and traffic to a minimum, paused for services, and protected memorials and grounds throughout. The driving surfaces were prepared, the base was corrected where needed, and hot-mix asphalt was paved and rolled to a smooth, level finish across the roadways and walkways. Edges and transitions were detailed by hand.
The Result
The cemetery grounds reopened with quiet, even drives and walkways — a respectful, well-finished surface that lets visitors come and go in comfort and lets the property continue to be cared for the way it deserves.
