The Challenge
The roadway in Cheshire, CT carried daily traffic and needed a surface engineered for ride quality and longevity — a fresh wearing course over a sound base, with clean transitions at edges and intersections.
Our Process
The crew worked from the same trucks, paver, and rollers used on every Maisano Brothers job — there is no chain of subcontractors between the estimate and the finished surface. The same crew that priced the work delivered it on site, which keeps quality consistent from the first call through the final pass. The wearing course was milled, base issues were repaired, and a fresh hot-mix surface was paved and rolled to specification. Joints and intersection transitions were detailed by hand for a clean ride.
The Result
The completed roadway carries traffic on a ride-quality surface, with clean transitions and joints that should hold up for the surface's design life.
